I have no idea about replacing the hard drives. The user manual might

I know they're SCSI drives, and they (and the hard drive) are fitted in
a way that is obviously intended to make removing/fitting easy.
I should probably have mentioned in my first post that it's in a 19"
rack mount fitting. It's just under 9" tall, which I believe makes it
5U.
OK if the collection falls through let me know and I'll dispatch one
of my minions to come and pick the lot up.
