42" Plasma!! you rich bast.. we have to watch TV through next doors window!!
"Ooh to own a TV"
I'd have rather not had to shell out the money to be honest. Thursday
morning (wife was up, couldn't sleep) the tv died...after 11 years of
faultless use. So I went to check out the tv's and this one was the
best of them all. There were cheaper and more expensive models but I
liked the screen (picture) quality of this one and thought sod it.
Well, you can't take it with you and I might be dead next week. Kim
went ape shit though and ranted all night about it being too big for
the living room. Humph! I tried reasoning with her (I know, women
:-) sorry Jen) I said I looked at 32" and they are only in LCD and the
picture is awful onthem when there is any action as it drags across
the screen. So then I looked at 37" and I wasn't impressed with what
was available. Next up was 40" and they only had Samsung which I will
not ever touch again with a barge pole. So then came the 42"
bracket...Bingo! Beautiful 42" LG plasma screen. I researched the
burn in effect and that has been nearly completely done away with now
os I went for that. Amazing picture quality :-)
