I thought you might and yes, I was being serious about trying it. I
have I think 6.2 on DVD. I'll lay around with Debian first. How
small can I go realistically hard drive size wise for FreeBSD? I do
have a spare 20gb. This would be purely for evaluation to start with
of course.
i used to have freebsd 5.4 running on an 8gb hard drive, a 20 would be
plenty big enough for 6.2
on a windows note, i'm currently trialling enterprise server 2008...
if anyone's at all interested it reminds me of vista a little too much
(without any fiddling in the registry yet of course)
as for visual studio 2008, haven't installed it yet but i have an msdn
copy sitting here... i'm a little excited about web developer 2008
2007 data protection manager also seems to work (flawlessly so far...
though this is day 2 of testing it)
