It would be based around e-mail communication.... then it can go on to face to face or telephone etc...
...after thking the wiki can still contain certain things like basic howtos, links etc...but the Linux for chocolate page would contain profiles on the people willing to participate and what they can do, and how they best think they would want to do it...
I agree email can be picked up anywhere as well it means you wont have to keep checking the site. handy if at your place of work/library/whatever block access to certain sites?On 8/13/07, ArchLinuxUser dick_turpin <dick_turpin@archlinux.us> wrote:_______________________________________________On 13/08/07, Kris Douglas < webbox.uk@gmail.com> wrote:Thats easily done on MediaWiki or similar.. Hm, hows this gonna work Kris? If its a HOWTO wiki nobody is going to send any chocolate and I've already eaten my bar of dairy milk.
If its a 'Send an Email' then;
1. Its a bit more personal
2. They may become friends
3. They may join our list
4. They'll fell guilty if they haven't sent any chocolate.--

Arch Linux is an independent i686-optimized community distribution for intermediate and advanced Linux users. Utilising a Rolling Release System packages are regularly updated and an ISO release is just a snapshot to the stable packages at that time. So there's no need for a fresh install the command 'pacman –Syu' upgrades the whole system.
