Dick Turpin is an utter idiot! Yep just had this in from a guy I know.
... I haven't used xgl in ages ... I assume you've got ubuntu edgy?
That has xorg 7.1 which means it's got aiglx on there already, so you
don't need anything more ... just install beryl and add a line or two
to xorg.conf and you're laughing
Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "true"
Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "true"
under device is what I've got
may be a little different if you've got an intel gpu
xgl isn't supposed to work right with the newer beryls anyway I
believe ... it does give you support for xwinwrap ... but that
probably isn't going to work great unless you've got a nice gpu on
there.
Seeing as its Friday and I generally have a couple of cans there maybe
some swearing tonight or avery bad celebration hangover in the
morning.
