I've heard that Zimbra is very much a case of... running it on
it's
own server with no other services type thing.. Is this true?
It's best to do it that way as it includes apache and mysql and all sorts of things.
I've had no end of trouble trying to run stuff alongside it, so my current project is
to move it into a VM. Having said that I've been using it for a few years now and can
heartily recommend it.
