Hi folks,
I have the following for sale:
Kyocera Mita FS-1800 Laser Printer
----------------------------------
I think this is a 19 ppm printer. It's of a medium size. Interface is
parallel or ethernet, but there isn't an ethernet card included. It works
fine. The output isn't quite as sharp as from a brand new printer, but
you'd need to have good eyesight and be very fussy in order to notice. The
only notable fault is that one of the wire clips which secures the
parallel cable is missing, but you could no doubt steal one from a broken
printer. Cosmetic condition is excellent. There are no nasty scratches or
scuffs and there's no yellowing. There is a tiny amount of dirt around
where the pages emerge, but nothing serious. The toner cartridge which is
installed is part used, plus I'll include a brand new boxed cartridge.
I'll also include a parallel cable and power cable. Unfortunately I don't
have the original documentation or software. £25.
Plextor PX-W124TSi SCSI CD Writer in External Case
--------------------------------------------------
This is a 12x write, 4x re-write, 32x read CD writer in a Yamaha external
SCSI case. It's a good quality tray-loading drive with a fan built into
the drive itself. The external case is metal with two HD50 connectors, a
power switch on the front and auto-termination if the drive supports it
(the PX-W124TSi does). This has only been used to burn about 10 CDs ever.
I used it to burn a copy of Solaris 9, a copy of Star Office and a copy of
a Sun freeware CD-Rom, which can't be more than about 10 discs. The drive
is in mint condition. The SCSI case shows a couple of very minor scuffs
and some adhesive on the underside where I removed some labels, but is not
yellowed and is in very good condition overall. I'll include a power lead.
I might be able to find a SCSI cable to go with it, but I'm not certain of
this. This drive works well with SCSI-based Sun systems. It might also
work with SGI and Hewlett Packard machines, but I'm not sure. I'm happy to
sell the drive and case separately or together. £15 for the drive. £10 for
the SCSI case.
The printer will need to be collected from Edgmond Common (postcode TF10
8ES). I'd prefer the drive to be collected, but I'm prepared to post it at
cost if required.
E-mail me at cdt22(a)cantabgold.net if you're interested.
Best wishes,
Chris Tidy
