WTF? You've got a chopped about HDD a couple of partions that cant be
read (PMagic may be able to browse them) all in all its a mess.
Now I love VM don't get me wrong but you'll get better performance
running a true install. "Tut tut tut kids today, they want it all on a
plate".
Dick Turpin walks away shaking his head. :-)
Alternatively, there are some options...
My preferred in this case would be to save whatever files need saving.
The important stuff that is irreplaceable. Then I'd wipe the disk
clean and repartition it properly - think carefully about what you
need.
Or, there are the open source tools such as QT parted which has a lot
of the same functionality as Partition Magic. I'm willing to bet that
the latest will safely handle NTFS partitions. QT parted being free
of course and included on quite a few distros (SuSE springs to mind).
I know that there is a Gnome partition tool that has had some good
reviews lately but I cannot remember the name of it as I rarely use
Gnome.
