Meeku,
When you see the text output of a BIOS, your in what is called text mode.
The styling of the characters in text mode is done by your graphics chip
not by the BIOS software as they're the same text modes used by anything
else using text modes like Unix and DOS.
Each graphics card manufacturer styles the characters slightly
differently, just like Teletext characters look slightly differently
depending on the TV.
You'd have to literally reprogram how your characters are styled (as in
per pixel) for anything using that particular text mode in the graphics
chip itself... which unless you were the manufacturer with a full
knowledge of how that chip was programmed, is likely impossible.
However! Many BIOS's do support customisable graphics that can appear on
top of the BIOS text which you can create and flash yourself using the
motherboard provided tools. You can use this to display your own
information in whatever font you like.

I want to change the font on the Bios which is separate from the
operating system. Have any LUG members experience with changing the
font on Bios via the video card?
Regards,
Meeku
