You could always stick CentOS Server on
http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/centos/4.4/isos/i386/CentOS-4.4.ServerCD-i386.iso
Its what I/We use here its a cut down version you'll need to stick
MySQL-server on, it has a graphical install but no GUI. Interestingly
I set one up for a customer yesterday whole process took 20 minutes
(Exluding updates which of course takes longer whatever you use).
I agree the brown distro's 'LAMP' server is pretty good but I prefer
not to use it.
To be fair they ALL do the job they are supposed to do at the end of
the day IMO it just comes down to personal preference.
