don't know if you know the ins and outs of how solid state drives work (or whether you care...) ... basically a series of transistors which are either on or off... multiple times over... making up data... when you "zoom out" from that level as with any electronic devices... they eventually get worn out! imho... don't WORRY about it too much... you're unlikely to be writing enough times to come close to the situation
