I dont know how good it would be with a 400mhz processor my eeepc struggles sometimes when I have a few applications open. still its highly portable. I wonder what the battery life is on it though my eee 701 is pretty poor to be honest :(

Cheers :)  I have been reading the list for ages but never got around
to posting :)

Also the price point seems about right,  elonex were saying they would
be flogging them around the £189 price point but I am not sure if that
includes VAT.  No idea who actually makes them,  it will be like the
Elonex One which is a rebadged something else,  or the RM rebadging of
the Eee,  I hope that it does not have the same software stack as the
One though as that is rubbish :(

Personally I would spend a little more cash and go for the Atom based
Eee you linked to in the other thread :)  IIRC they were doing two
versions of the Atom Eee,  both for about the same price point,  one
was XP based and the other Linux based.  The linux based machine had
better hardware too (bigger SSD and memory iirc) which I assume they
spend the cost they would have had to pay for the XP licence on :)
