Hi
You might want to have a look at the Mifi from 3. It's a wireless dongle
that you connect to as wireless network so should be even easier than a usb
dongle and you can also connect multiple devices at once.
One downside I think currently is that you need to connect it to a windows
machine as a one off activation although I believe a new Mifi will be
released on 3 in the next few weeks which does not require this.
Which ever you decide best to check the coverage specifically in the area
you will want it the most. I currently have a 220 on t-mobile which has been
fine on ubuntu. But now my contract has run out I will get the new Mifi as
soon as it is available. I have 3 contract on my Android phone and I have
been pretty happy with the 3g coverage.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Phil

Hi guys!
I need to get some info on mobile broadband/internet. My partner is
currently in hospital and wants to use the Internet so I've been tasked to
sort her out with the kit she needs. She runs ubuntu 10.04 and is quite
savvy but anything too complicated would be needed to be done by myself at
home.
I'm told that most dongles work, Does anyone have any advice as which to
get?
Thanks!
~Jon
