Not really, the clue was in the "I left it for 3/4 of an hour" I
reckon while I was away studying my navel hair the thing struggled
along then probably ignored some feature/service and spewed into life.
When I tried last night I got the hump after 10 minutes and powered
off and back on again maybe if I had left it (for 3/4 of an hour) it
would have fired up.
Anyway as I say Mepis is installed and runs fine so there cant be any
hardware problems it picked up the internal NIC so Internet access, as
always, is three quarters of the battle won.
