Dave. It could be that the manufacturer has done the usual trick of
subtly changing the chip that is used on the wireless card. I have no
personal experience of setting up wireless networking on any platform.
However, I have read extensively of this manufacturers nasty little
trick. I'm sure it's really deliberate but they do appear to have a
habit of changing spec's but not changing the actual model of the
wireless card :-(
I fear that we are back to a similar situation of years gone by where
some cards would work with Linux but others simply wouldn't and it was
a case of make sure you purchased a known Linux friendly card :-( Not
a good situation..
