I have to agree with this, if people put the effort putting there ideas into
1 distro, you wouldnt get lots of distros that dont do alot but good distros
packed with lots of features:)

There
are enough distributions out there already before someone releases a poor
clone with two alternative fonts and new logo. Yea the idea of Linux is to
make it what you want it to be, but is this really something that needs it's
own distro or could it be done with a script that modifies a Debian or Suse
installation. I just don't think enough research is being put in to the
process of producing your own distro. The next thing i put to you to
consider is that you could possibly offer your skills to assist with an
existing distribution.
Just my two pence but I feel I am not alone on some of these points, and I
promise this is not a rant, just an opinion.
