I understand why you wouldnt like it my partner has a condition which
makes typing at any speed a job and a half. and it makes using msn etc
difficult. I only suggested it as alternative for those who cant
attend meetings due to work etc.

I only dislike IRC because I can no longer type fast enough to keep up
with a converstaion. It's why I prefer e-mail as I'm in control of
when I answer a message. If there are any important notices then it's
easy to pop an e-mail on the main list for slow buggers like me :-)
