Splits should come naturally - 20 people regularly meet in
Stafford, 20 different people in Leek, and a dozen in
Newcastle-Under-Lyme - that would make a natural split.
As it is we have two LUGs which dont't meet: staffslug.org.uk
and staffs.lug.org.uk (the latter marked as *South* Staffs
in the journals, though it did meet briefly in Keele).
Personally next Monday isn't so good for me, sorry Matthew,
though Monday is a good day generally. I'm happy to travel
across the county to a meeting, but pretty busy, and have
to prioritise evening meetings related to work (Leeds,
Liverpool, Manchester, and Shropshire in the average month).
Perhaps it would help to have someone speak at the meeting.
Or, better yet, anyone who wants to speak. Use the 20:20
format - 20 seconds on each of 20 slides. A lightning dash
through your subject to tickle people's interest. :-)
