freecycle?

Kris.  The lovely little Sony - ask Dick - is in bits because of the
way I had to install Puppy Linux on it.  It was a case of take the
hard drive out and hook it up to a desktop PC.  Due to the vagaries of
the Sony design - they, shortsightedly, only ever expected Microsoft
Windwoes (yes, it's meant to be spelled that way) to be installed on
it.  Win 98 was always slower than a frozen treacle man running the
100 metres dash even though that was what was originally installed on
it.

It's literally just a case of finding the time to put it all back
together.  It won't take long but it just that 101 other little jobs
always find priority.  One of those includes running the local
Freecycle group and gearing up for setting up a new one :-)  I had to
get that in because the Sony came from a Freecycle member :-) cost?
£0.00  :-)
