There is now an ISO international standard for office

The big, big problem with the ODF standard is that hardly any (are
there any at all?) office type packages actually implement it fully
and properly as yet. OOo doesn't either yet they are possibly at the
forefront of pushing the format. Try opeing a semi complex open
document type formatted doc in OOo that has been created in another
suite.... it doesn't open properly. The standard is there so why
aren't they all using it properly? It would be a fantastic boost to
KOffice if they were the first to fully implement it.
