i like the ones which you can position to make your wheels move
around, they're about 20mph and don't have an impact.. those are the
good ones IMO.. you get a gentle ride unless you're speeding or can't
manouver your vehicle (also good for bikers, you can ride around them)

Now that's the one bit I vehemently disagree with. I have found that
by speeding up over the bumps it lessens the impact with my back. So
it is actually having a negative effect. I have to go over a series
of humps in Great Wyrley and the limit is 30mph. You cannot go over
them at anything less than 40 otherwise it is murder. I hate having
to do that speed but I really don't have a choice. It's either that
or traverse them at about 0.5 miles per hour which is stupid. The
problem with humps is that they are created soley by the workman on
the day and not by the use of a template. So, you can have humps that
are ok to drive over and they will make you aware of your speed.
Then there are teh crap ones that not even a bus can get over
properly..
