TBF if its the motherboard your better off chucking it in the bin unless someone has one with a duff screen that they no longer want. If either Mboard or screen is blown your looking at 50% of the value so its not economical to repair. Utilising a Rolling Release System packages are regularly updated and an ISO release is just a snapshot to the stable packages at that time.
