One this I did find with SuSE was the Xine rpm that they provide.. It was
very butchered "for legal reason".. But I did find an excellent site
(which of course I've forgotten the URL!) which did a 5 min step by step
rpm install for the proper version.. Xine all up and running sweetly :o)
I should have added that SuSE is made even better by visiting a web
page called the 'Jem Report' at:
http://www.thejemreport.com/mambo/index.php
Just type in you SuSE version in the search box and gaze upon the
wondorous goodies that you can do to improve SuSE... Ok, some of it
is frowned upon because it's not all open source but heck, I want to
be able to play DVD's and mp3 files not be a martyr to the cause :-)
