I've had an Asus EEE for about six weeks and very pleased with it. The screen and
keyboard are a bit on the small side, but with plenty of ports and slots (VGA, SD/mmc, 3x
USB, Ethernet, audio i/o) plus easily upgradeable RAM, it's a steal! If the 7"
screen is a bit small for using for long periods eg at home, I guess you could always plug
in an external monitor. Plenty powerful enough for web, video playback etc., and you can
have any OS you like (except maybe Vista). I still can't believe how small the thing
is - photos do not do it justice! Only problem is getting hold of one.
Now I'm just looking for the killer app for it - at the moment it's just used to
rdesktop into work from my living room!
