Hello all.

I have a hp / compaq NX7300 which is running Ubuntu 8.10 v slow. Put HD in my desktop and it flys!

Testing and rescaerch on the 'net indicates that this could be due to power I.E the cpu clock being slowed as the laptop "thinks" it's got a low voltage.

I'd like to test with a decent battery (mine is no good) and a known good adapter.

If anyone has one of these PCs and is willing to let me test then I'd be very obliged!
