I was reading this and thought that I would do the same thing as I
just thought you couldn't sync your ipod with ubuntu that I am using - so I have
downloaded it via synaptic manager - so where is it? Its supposed to be GUI but I
can't see anything or use it -with windows it stares you in the face on the desktop-
I've hunted everywhere-I know you are going to blame it on me being female-but its not
obvious to me-any ideas?

Rythmbox will also transfer content to your ipod, though it is not
obvious how to do it. Import you tracks to the library, drap tracks to Ipod.
Jenette: you should find them here: Applicationa -> sounad & video
-> rythmbox or gtkpod
