I want a linux distro. Could you tweek an existing distro e.g. Ubunto or
Fedora?
Please tell me if I wanted a logo installed, put fonts, remove other fonts
at console/terminal, verbose, gui, apps and perhaps put a keyboard app,
startup browser with specific website, what would you charge for live or
install distro and also for regular maintenance?

The biggest question is why would you want to?
Seriously most linux distributions can be made to do whatever you like
without much hassle, If you did make your own you would have to support it
and provide repos etc for it. And the cost would be pretty high monetary as
well. Best thing you could do would be to install a basic
debian/ubuntu/insert distro of choice, and then make your own modifications
to it.
In short it would be a lot of work. Hope that helps :P

There is at least one Debian distro that gives you the absolute basics
and then allows you to install only what you want installed. There
are, of course other distro's based in bigger distro's like Slackware
that do the same. It is very much a case of what are you actually
looking for?

regular maintenance?" I think ou have an incorrect view of what we are
here. We are a LUG not a company out to make money by building
software. We'll certainly help out if you need it and we are able to
offer that help. We don't charge though :-)

Ah, I remember that. I don't think we ever did find out if it was

The easiest way I can think of getting what you want (i.e. someone to do
it for you, and something you can call a complete 'distro' - as in out of
box everything as you want)... would be to use the program that Linux Mint
originally used to create their Ubuntu fork. It's called Reconstructor,
however the author has since turned this into a paid (but very cheap) web
service but at least you'd have someone to get official help from...
