I'm thinking of getting one myself as I am having horrible problems with my ADSL at the moment. Dropped connections and ultra low (less than dial up) speeds. Then it suddenly speeds up again to what it should be?????

Ebuyer do 5 port ethernet router/modems for about £15 brand new. Cheap but they should work and, more importantly, work out of the box with Linux.

I've got the linux drivers for the eagle usb modem (the horrible thing handed out by talktalk tiscali etc) but no time as working abroad for the next month. I can arrange to drop the disc off in stafford if it's any use.
