Hmmm, I'm not so sure you'll like my views on Star Trek.
I grew up with the original series. I watched it first time round
here in the UK and had all the annuals etc at Xmas time. I bet they
would be worth a fortune if I only still had them... Anyway, I really
did not like Star Trek: The Next Generation. In fact I hated it.
 Deep Space 9....was even worse.
Voyager though :-) I love that series, I even don't mind Kate
Mulgrew's voice (my wife cannot stay in the room as soon as 'Janeway'
starts to talk. Of course there is Kes...ah, Kes :-))))) sadly a
touch too young for me...by about 20 years. I love watching Voyager
now again that it's being shown on Channel 5 every weekday dinnertime
 - double bill.
On to the last of the Star Trek series with Enterprise. Why, oh why
did they have to scrap it? I thought Enterprise was possibly the best
of all the Star Trek series. I wish they would have a change of heart
 and commission another series.

I should mention that my very favourite tv sci-fi is Doctor Who. I
will admit to having more of a fondness for the novels though. It
went through an awful period in the late 70's up until the BBC
scrapped it. This new series is pretty good...
