Ah I'm on holiday now until a week Tuesday which is a pity as it would

This is what you'll have to do, Know what you want eg what it looks
like, serial numbers etc I hate memory and I'm rubbish at it.
I have a box with 30 0r 40 bits of old memory I'm 99.9% convinced
there is some edo stuff there so you'll have to come to my office and
have a rummage not next week but the week after.

I don't think Ulteo is a derivative of Ubuntu. I amy be wrong of
course... At the moment, from what I gather, Ulteo is still pretty
much a proof of concept distro. It's not really meant for proper
usage. Gael Duval (who created the old Mandrake) is still heavily
working on Ulteo. To be honest I think it shows promise and may yet
take the newcomers crown away from Ubuntu...I hope ;-)

I have a uneasy feeling about Ubuntu, that's all. I cannot put my
finger on it. To be honest I cannot get to like Ubuntu no matter how
many times I try it. Kubuntu is ok so it may simply be that I cannot
stand Gnome. Add a bit of Dick's influence about anti Ubuntuism into
the mix...

Right, having thought about it a bit more.. I just feel that Ubuntu
is billed as being a great distro for a newcomer. I strongly disagree
with this - though, to be fair it has got better...I do keep trying
it. I think Ulteo has far more potential as a newcomers OS.
