Anybody had a go at replacing their BIOS with the Linux BIOS yet?

Done a lot of reading on this subject but none of my spare
(disposable) mobos are supported and I might need a truckload of bios
chips before I get one working!!
On a serious note though, we've been threatened with the possibility
of a "win-only" bios so this might be important soon.

The very reason I was so interested in it. Oh, plus the fact that I
have a few mobos that are otherwise ideal for Linux....but the BIOS is
shite and doesn't like Linux :-(
