Interesting concept, Meeku. Now I think I see where you have been
coming from all this time with the various questions you have asked.
Am I right in thinking that you are looking at tying a religious
aspect into technology? Sort of endowing a server (or servers) with a
spiritual core due to the cooling from blessed river water? I am not
and would not poke fun at you for this, if this is your wish then I
wish you all the best. What I will say is make sure the water you use
is filtered and sterilised if that is allowed. If not you will find
all sorts of algae growing within your cooling system and very quickly
getting clogged up and eventually frying your CPU :-(

explain it to me.

It is your opinion and I fully respect and would indeed fight for your
right to it. But, my opinion is a LUG is not solely about Linux it is
about peripheral issues connected or possibly connected to Linux too.
Part of that is hardware. Without hardware we can't run Linux or any
other OS, not even in a virtual environment.
My view is that we can't discuss hardware issues then what's the point
in having a LUG? In fact, I have left other supposed user groups
because I have asked questions that were not deemed to be within the
narrow confines of that group :-(
The point I am trying to make is that by virtue of us being a LUG we
do have a wealth of experienced people here. Those people will be
highly knowledgeable in many other aspects of computing so why not ask
the questions? If nobody knows the answer then ok, there will be no
replies and we try elsewhere. Surely by helping with other computing
issues we are best placed to forward the usage of Linux and other FOSS
software.

definitely, certainly nothing to do with Twitter, Jack Daniels or that
sharply-suited man standing in the corner watching you through really dark
shades. Please be sure to avoid all these items when choosing your topic of
discussion, which must be Linux.

Meechu, I offer hosting services and I'd be happy to ship in water from the
Ganges to fill your cooling system with. Prices start at $655,000/month
(that's a comma, not a point) for one dedicated server, which might seem a
lot but I'll be able to do a much better price on subsequent machines as
it's just the water import which is really going to cost a lot. You might be
better off getting a Priest to bless some tap water.

:-) ok, two extremes of view. But this is why this LUG and Wolves
LUG which I have been a member of for even longer than this one (which
is something like 8 or 9 yrs now) are both so good. We do discuss all
issues in computing with the focus being on Linux of course. At the
same time we can accomodate both views of an argument and accept them.
