Someone on the freecycle list has a broken ThinkPad T20 - it could be the power supply logic board, or a mainboard fault. Does anyone live near enough to be able to help the person in question - they're unable to travel themselves. Better yet, does anyone have a T20 (or T21) to test it by swapping parts? TBF if its the motherboard your better off chucking it in the bin unless someone has one with a duff screen that they no longer want. If either Mboard or screen is blown your looking at 50% of the value so its not economical to repair.
