Dear Nigel et al, Just to let you know that that Shropshire LUG meets in Telford. Geographically this is also between Stafford and Birmingham but West rather than East to Tamworth. http://shropshirelug.wordpress.com/   That said I should introduce myself! I live in Shrewsbury and ran the meeting here for a couple of years but our (pub) location was remodelled and since most members were Telford based we moved to Horsehay just over a year ago.   We have about 6-10 (or 2-20 depending on timeframe) people to our meetings and quite a few members are into Radio Ham stuff and a few are building Arduino based projects too. My personal interest is with hardware and computer history. In fact I am planning a short talk/look/discussion on Ebook Readers for the next meeting. Something not on our website is that the Station Inn pub food is pretty good so a couple of people eat there. We meet in the bar but then we have an upstairs room to ourselves.
