I only vote Joomla because we have somebody on hand who actually

I'm back from the dead!!
Right first things first. I've tried pretty much all the suggestions
so far, most of them are shit Plone is crap Drupal is pretty tight but
slightly unforgiving in the customisation area, PHP-Nuke is a bit
basic in respect of add-ons.
So what can I say about Joomla? Well for starters I've used it and its
for runner Mambo for, hm, five odd years? I like it that much that
I've spent about £150 on one or two proprietary modules and templates
over the last couple of years.
Now I'm not foolish enough to say Joomla is the number one but it is
the best of the bunch plus with Joomla 1.5 ftp is handled within
Joomla itself (After initial ftp upload of the site) TBH any idiot can
'work the site' from the control panel its really simple, New-->type
title-->type text--publish front page-->save anyone can do that!
I've just purchased a new template for my site and used the customised
Joomla they provided it has everything you guys need, Fireboard Forum,
Community builder etc etc.
The beauty of Joomla is there are loads and loads of add-on freebie
modules for it which with a little easy peasy work can make your site
look stunning.
P. S. Heres my touché
Ubuntu must be the best everyone uses it.
I use Ubuntu cos I'm a sheep and everyone else uses it.
If its decided to go down the Joomla route I'm happy to help/advise
however what ever you guys choose I'll be happy with although one
question I've not seen raised as such, are we sticking with a 'mailing
list' or switching to a forum based system?

Arch Linux is an independent i686-optimized community distribution for
intermediate and advanced Linux users. Utilising a Rolling Release
System packages are regularly updated and an ISO release is just a
snapshot to the stable packages at that time. So there's no need for a
fresh install the command 'pacman –Syu' upgrades the whole system.
