I would personally prefer to keep my file server and gateway seperate for security reasons to be honest. Going to have a look at OpenFiler though.. I'm looking at OpenFiler at the mo which does install but does not handle the internet gateway stuff out-of-the-box. Also downloaded Zentyal (nee eBox) and Untangle to try. Open to the idea of a roll-your-own solution with Ubuntu server.
