Hi all,
Been lurking on here for a while, and of course when I delurk it's for a question
rather than an answer :)
Got a Dell 1855 here at home with a couple of hardware raid disks running debian. I have
a couple of bigger disks I want to put in it to give me more space. The hardware raid
doesn't give me the option to mirror onto the bigger disks one at a time unless I keep
the same volume size, which seems fairly sane.
Anyone know a way to do it without having to image the server to somewhere else, replace
disks (and rebuild raid volume bigger) then image back? Or failing that, can anyone
recommend some imaging software I can use.
I'm fairly up on the linux side of things as far as resizing partitions is concerned,
and I have a PXE boot environment here if that helps.
I don't currently have a USB caddy with enough space on it to make this easy, so
I'm after ideas.
Cheers for any help :)
Adam
