P.S. When replying with your attendance status, it'll be easier if you just
paste that bit rather than the whole message.

by Adam Egan
Hi all,
Anyone with any Mailman experience around?
Trying to configure it at the moment... when I send an email to the list I
get a reply saying 'local delivery failed' and in the exim log I find
'mailman exited with error code 2' ?

Next Meeting
by Adam Egan
Dear LUG,
The next meeting will be at Navaho and so we will have the facility for
someone to give a talk or for a group activity of some description.
I'd be grateful if everyone could suggest a few things they'd like to do.
We can then see what seems to be popular.

Subject: CACert Assurance Meet - Digital email and other certificates
To: alex(a)alex-robertson.co.uk
OK everyone – there’s only a week to go now – this meet is set for Sat
14th Jan, starting at 11:30
The event has been upgraded to a full assurer training event, so
Ulrich and Alex (another Alex!) are coming over from Germany and will
act as both presenters and co-auditors of our meetup….
There are currently 19 people in total who have said they will be
attending– it would be nice if we could get that up to 25 – but I
don’t think that will happen – so that everyone could come away with
maximum points so if you are able to bring a friend or two, please let
me know….
The basic format of the event is at
http://wiki.cacert.org/Events/20120114ATE-Manchester
Parking on-site at the venue is very limited – but there is on-street
parking and the nearby pub has a car park. Please allow enough time to
park – we have a lot to get through and we need to make a prompt
start…. There is a café on site offering drinks and food for sale.
Things to do before the event…
· Make sure you’ve enrolled at CACert.
· Read through the Assurers Handbook
(http://wiki.cacert.org/AssuranceHandbook2 )and the associated wiki
pages on acceptable documents
(http://wiki.cacert.org/AcceptableDocuments and
http://wiki.cacert.org/AcceptableDocuments/UnitedKingdom )
· Create a certificate if you don’t have one already (you need
one to do the challenge!)
· If you’ve not done it, have a go at the Assurer’s challenge
test – you will need to pass this to assure people.
· Print out 25 prefilled assurance forms to bring with you….
You can get the pre-filled pdf file if you are log into your cacert
account and go to “CAP Forms/A4 – WoT Form” in the menu on the right
of the screen.
On the day
· Bring your ID – at least two forms of ID – more is better,
if in doubt email me….
· Bring the forms you printed
· Bring yourself
· Bring some friends!!!
I look forward to seeing you all next Saturday…..
