I wasn't trying to bring them up as new topics, just add an opinion to
existing topics.
.. By starting a completely new thread? They clearly weren't opinions on
the existing threads, because you proclaimed that you hadn't read them!

I'm not surprised I missed it! There been 41 messages so far on that
topic, and I don't care when or where the meeting is... just want a
final decision/announcement to stick out above the rest so I can read that.
Agreed, there wasn't one. A formal announcement should be made..
My angst was that you were simply refusing to read the discussion
threads in order to catch-up.
But ultimately you were pretty damn rude just and so I'm
unsubscribing,
this LUG isn't going anywhere soon... and whenever Thunderbird pops up
with something interesting to read from this mailing list it is usually
some new gadget or "Web 2.0" web site being discussed... not Linux.
If anyone has anything more to say to me then mail me directly as I
won't see your response.
That's an awfully childish response.
If this were a forum, you'd be quite quickly blasted for starting new
threads instead of just being patient. This is no different.
