I've not used Endian (never heard of it until Al mentioned it) but it looks like the same sort of idea - a distro that turns a PC into a firewall. So all the talk about IPTables and ways to set it up is irrelevant. To answer the orginal question, I don't think anyone has any experience with Endian. I can recommend IPCop, which, from what I can tell, does much the same, but I don't know whether or not it's better than Endian for what you need.
