Yeah it has got a bit tediuos. ;-)
I won't vote on how the LUG should/shouldn't change, because
I'll not
be very involved either way, and I don't think it's reasonable for me
to have much say if I'm not going to be involved.
Not true, if you're on the list you're a member you have as much a say
as anyone else you don't get brownie points for going to meetings or
extra privileges.
Any Lug does not have to 'meet' to make it a Lug the list is your Lug!
We live in a technological boom where you can hook up with anyone
anywhere in the world, know every detail about them. Live, love and cry
with them unfortunately this Lug has not embraced that technology as
others have, I'm not pointing the finger or anything it just appears the
list has got hung up on irrelevant points "Well I went to a meeting and
there was only 6 people" "Are we North or South?".
Some good suggestions have been made, I picked up on them but I think
they've been drowned by the "Eye off the ball comments.
1. The Web Site should be given a Viking funeral and a phoenix created.
2. The Lug should be on identi.ca, Twitter, ping.fm and any other micro
3. People should get into #staffslug more (Including me)
4. Every member is an Ambassador, get more members e.g. Kidnap,
Blackmail and even Honey trap (Only kidding)
5. Add your ideas here!
