But with no internet connection or credit cards the voluntary
group in question is restricted to what is available locally
[until I can get to them, if no-one else does].
I think they'll be hard-pressed to find much below 50 quid
in Stafford - I have a feeling PC World concentrate on
wireless ADSL boxes :-/
Hence the alternative of getting someone to help them with
what they have :-)

One irony is that someone donated them a MS Windows box,
so that it would be easier for them to find local help - and this
box died recently after never working properly.

Ah well, I can partially offer some advice. All Staffordshire
libraries have free public internt access. The downside could be the
credit card part. I'm not sure if Ebuyer accept cheques.
