So I take it LiveCD does a disk image, dumps it in a folder then
copy's that to a CD (or DVD?) which is what Nero Burning does in
effect.

This creates an installable iso of your current system with
everything installed. Yes, I did flatten and reinstall but you can run
it live anyway first.
It's great, in effect you installing a linux OS that connects your
wifi as soon as it boots and is updated to the point at which you made
the image.
I don't think I know "Nero" is that a w***ows thing?
