you might have bought just before LCD's shifted to being better,
bigger (err... if that makes sense?)
contrast ratios have gotten much better, and the technology has come
far in the past 18 months... infact i'm currently shopping for a 40+
LCD for gaming... hard to decide which are better i find...

Give me a plasma screen over an LCD if you going over 40" in size
anyday. Below that I'd opt for LCD. Of course, technology may have
caught up by now, I did say I bought ours nearly 2 years ago now.
