Ha, and this list too. I don't know about everyone else, but
often when I've Googled [1] for solutions to one of our
server problems I've found the result in a mailing list
archive - and fairly often a LUG archive.
Keeping the archive hidden - as in the case of both Staffs
and W----- (the un-named list refered to by the OP) means
shutting others out from the knowledge shared here. [2]
It's also a pain not being able to use Google to search
just the archive of this LUG, when on a machine without
a complete archive. [3]
So, how about opening the LUG archive, Dave? Would anyone
have any objections?
