to be more truthful I get a hell of a lot of "It is mentioned but not
available" WTF?

on Suse, Fedora and Kubuntu....with NO success...
OK I can help with SuSE although I think I have Player running on my
FC6 cant remember for the minute and its at home anyway.
I've just spent an hour trawling god dam Novells site looking for the
instructions I have the link at home so I'm afraid you'll have to wait
until 6.30pm onwards.
If memory serves me right you'll need to change a couple of bits, what
version of SuSE do you plan to put it on? This is critical as we need
to get an extra package and they are all versioned.
