Anybody know of a utility that can get round a BIOS password? I may or may not need it yet but just in case. It is legitimate as I've been given 4 old PC's from a school. But, they are BIOS password protected. Resetting the jumper may do the job but if it doesn't.......

we all hate them - speed bumps make you aware of your speed and slow you down

Unless anyone else out there has a 20+ year history of motorsport and street cars in the order of 600hp I'll demand the final say on this one. There was never an accident caused by a road, a minute number due to mechanical failure(10 yr test/Mot waste of money), speed is not a meaningful factor (they hit each other all day long in London at an average speed of 8mph) Accidents are the proof positive of the total morons that our society allows behind the wheel. Mway limits? 100 min 180 max - if you don't like it you can use the A road. Our driving test is a joke, if I ran the system there'd be no more traffic problems 'cos the number of drivers would be reduced by 90% ! You're not looking at "drivers" out there, but people moving cars - a big difference. I could rant forever on this subject Stuart

It is my sincere belief that the up side of global warming ( if it's a real phenomenon) will, in time, ensure the survival of the fittest. In todays world that means the most technologically able. That should improve the average IQ of the gene pool.

I'm afraid that I don't agree with a lot of those sentiments. To me it smacks of Hitler's philosophy up to and during the 2nd World War. Who are we to say what is right and what is wrong with the way people live their lives?

Does that mean because I can't contribute to society I should be denied medical care, state benefits etc. The reason for the first problem (weight) is solely down to the second, I can't exercise. The arthritis, in my opinion, was exacerbated by a damn useless GP I used to have. I complained of back and neck problems and he sent me away with such lovely words as "I've got patients who are crippled with arthritis who don't make as much fuss". Hmmm, yes mate, if you'd sent me to a specialist I would have known that was exactly what I had developing. I could have adjusted my lifestyle and probably still be earning my living.
