I'm one who isn't in favour of IRC meets. However, that's my personal hang up and I actually think it's a fantastic idea for those who are happy using IRC. It does keep the LUG fresh and vibrant, again my personal opinion :-) I only dislike IRC because I can no longer type fast enough to keep up with a converstaion. It's why I prefer e-mail as I'm in control of when I answer a message.
