Far less experience here than that :) Only been using linux for the past
few years, first trying redhat 5.2 and then not again till 6.
Normally run mandrake on desktop with net or openbsd on servers/play
boxes. Just got a sparcstation4 & a ultra 5 too, so i'll hopefully be
adding solaris to my list soonish :) Using eclipse 1mb adsl with a /27
allocation.
On a side note, is anyone interested in wifi/consume.net?:)

Well ask away.
I have been using Linux on and off for nearly 10 years (I remember installing
a very early Slackware distro from lots and lots of floppy disks!). Over the
years I have used Slackware, RedHat, Mandrake and a number of home built
distros. Recently I have discovered Gentoo Linux (
http://www.gentoo.org/)
which is great but not for the faint hearted, or the 56k modem user :-).
At home I have a laptop and a desktop running Gentoo, a firewall (33 MHz 586)
running FreeBSD and a desktop running Windows ME (for games and the other
half). I am using ISDN into ClaraNet at the moment but trying to work out the
best options for ADSL setup.
My biggest problem is that I just can't resist reinstalling everything to play
with the next release of some toy.
