I tried to organise socials, but then realised I didn't have time to make them into much more than that! This is a mailman option and is really easy to fix. I agree that it's incredibly annoying the way it is now. Cc'd to staffslug-owner, please can it be changed back?

I haven't written anything because I haven't had anything to write about (and the lack of anything by anyone else didn't help). I haven't been to a meeting because my first child was born just over a year ago, and at that point, my whole life changed :-/ When we were in Cumbria, people would periodically complain that there were no meetings near them, but they'd never organise a meeting, and I got very frustrated by that. Most of the meetings that we did have were organised by me & Jen. hi i'm sim, just found the mailing list, i tried to register on the website but apparently there was a problem with the email being sent to my address and told me to contact the webmaster, although it seemed easier to just post it here. i've been running linux for around 6 months as my sole o/s. i started with ubuntu and now using linux mint 5 (i know not much difference).i'm based in stoke. is there generally more use of the mailing list rather than the forum?
